FAQ’s
A naturopathic nutritionist is someone who is qualified and knowledgeable in the benefits of using whole, organic foods and lifestyle changes to positively impact a persons health and wellbeing.
As everyone is an individual, it is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We want to get to the ‘root cause’ of a persons health issues, not put a sticky plaster over a symptom.
Your first port of call is to send an email, following the link on the website or social media. From there we can book in a 15 minute health chat to discuss your reasons for booking my service, this service is free.
If you are happy to proceed, you can buy the service you would like from the services page on the website. You will then receive, via email, a link to book in your consultation and the relevant health questionnaire forms for completion.
Appointments will take place over video call.
I will spend about a hour talking with you to getting a full case history, starting with the reasons you have decided to book. Then working from childhood to the precent day regarding illnesses, medications, life events etc. It’s important that I get a full picture to be in the best possible position to provide you with a comprehensive nutritional plan to suite your individual needs.
Once I have put together a nutritional plan, this will be emailed to you, in addition to us discussing the details to insure you are totally happy with it.
A follow-up appointment will be scheduled 6-8 weeks later to check on your progress and make any necessary alterations.
Appointments can be cancelled and rescheduled up to 48hrs before the day with no amendment fee.
Any appointments cancelled less that 48hrs before the day may be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment cost.
Any missed appointments will be charged at 100% of the appointment cost. This includes poor internet connection or phone signal.
Any technical issues with my equipment will be rescheduled, at no cost to you.
All appointments are non-refundable.
As everyone’s needs are different, there are no set rules.
You are in charge of how many appointments you would like to book.
Different plans are available depending on the level of support you need.
We can discuss this in full when you book a health chat.
The short answer in no.
If I suspect something needs further investigation, following a full case history, I would write a letter to your GP, with your permission, for this to be looked into.
No. All prescription medications you are taking should be managed with your healthcare provider.
If any protocol I recommend could lead to your medications needing to be reviewed, for example medication to manage type II diabetes, I would discuss that in full with you and provide a letter for your health care professional to monitor or alter the dose, if required. Medication changes always require medical supervision.
The aim is to obtain all of the nutrients, vitamins and minerals your body needs from food.
Sometimes you may need a boost, particularly if you are already deficient, have additional needs for specific nutrients, or are not able to get enough through your diet alone. This will be discussed in full with you and quality product recommendations will be given.

Some of the regulatory bodies are:
NNA- Naturopathic Nutrition Association,
GNC- General Naturopathic Council,
ANP- Association of Naturopathic Practitioners.
